Our Favourite Photo Locations

We live in such a beautiful place with endless places to be photographed in! From mountains to city skylines to beaches, we are pretty lucky to have all types of topography. We know it can be hard to choose so we compiled a list of our favorite places to shoot. If you have a location in mind, let us know! We always love finding new gems!

1. Crescent Beach Blackie Spit (South Surrey)

Blackie Spit offers a multitude of different shots. Its full of trails and pathways, as well as a sandy beach. Its a popular spot for photographers and there is a reason why! The light here is great to shoot in almost all hours of the day thanks to lots of trees that can provide shade! We know with kids that is a plus because its hard to schedule around the sun when your trying to juggle nap-time too!

2. Boundary Bay, Centennial Beach (Tsawwassen)

Ahh Boundary Bay…another all time favorite! Beautiful sunsets, and always a summer feeling here! The light is always magical on a nice summer day. This location can be a bit of a drive but has nice walking trails as well as the beautiful sandy beach!

3. Campbell Valley Regional Park (Langley)

Campbell Valley is an oldie but a goodie. Located in South Langley, it has such a variety all in one location: trails, open meadows, forest, historic buildings and even an abandoned race track! Each season is beautiful here and has unique colors! It doesn’t disappoint!

4. Pitt Lake (Pitt Meadows)

Ok so you’ve probably seen this location before in friends photos…there is a reason why: ITS JUST SO GORGEOUS. With that, there are usually a lot of people taking pictures here on a good day. It is about a 20 minute drive from Golden Ears Bridge with easy street parking. The dyke parallels along Pitt River with the mountains as the backdrop. It’s another great location that is beautiful in all seasons of the year.

5. Aldergrove Regional Park (Aldergrove)

Aldergrove Bowl is a classic spot for outdoor photos. It is convenient for those living in the Surrey, Langley and Abbotsford area. Its easily accessible for families with small children and is great for all seasons! It has lots of trees but also lots of open fields giving you a variety of backdrops for photos.

6. Whytecliff Park (West Vancouver)

Whytecliff Park is located in West Vancouver right near Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal. This location is quite unique and stunning! Its rocky beach leads up to a giant rock or “island”! Its not a place where we would recommend high heels so make sure your wearing proper shoes.
